Thom Hartmann: ‘JFK Did Not Cut Taxes on The Rich!’

Thom Hartmann_ JFK Did Not Cut Taxes On The Rich!Source:Thom Hartmann talking about President John F. Kennedy’s 1962 tax cut for everyone plan, including the rich.

“Thom Hartmann dispels the myth that President John F. Kennedy cut taxes on the rich.”

From Thom Hartmann

Thom Hartmann is technically correct here. A football team that wins just 1 more game than they lost in 1 season, technically they’re winners, but they had a mediocre record.

The fact is that President Kennedy proposed an across the board tax cut to Congress in 1963, that also cut loopholes. But he’s obviously also assassinated in 1963. President Lyndon Johnson gets the Kennedy tax plan through Congress and signed into law I believe in in the summer of 1964.

About Derik Schneider

I use a picture of John F. Kennedy as my profile pic on social media for as a very good reason: I'm a center-right, John F. Kennedy, Liberal Democrat. The real Liberals who believe in the defense of liberal democracy and the fight against authoritarianism, left-wing or right-wing. But I blog a lot about the Far-Left (or new-left, if you prefer) because I'm very interested in socialism and communism, as well as center-left progressivism, which is the real progressivism.
